Jonathan Saunders Mood Board Showing Makeup, Hair & Styling

This mood board represents the makeup, hair and styling in my Jonathan Saunders catwalk look. I included some oriental material in the shades blue and gold to represent the oriental robe my model will be wearing. The image of the model wearing a patterned robe is where I got the inspiration for my look from because I wanted the styling to look very similar to Saunders' collection so I could see what the makeup and hair look would actually look like in his collection. The image of the girl's hair shows that I am going to put the hair in a sleek half up, half down style; however I will not use a shiny black hair band and my model's hair is very dark brown. The large image on the bottom, left showing a model with wet-look hair and that is what I'm doing to the model's hair that is scraped back; I am going to add gel and hairspray for a sleek look. The model in the same image has very natural looking glowy skin and that is how I want my model's skin to look. I am going to give my model a slightly contour, using only cream products to add some dimension but I took inspiration from this image to make the skin look very bright and fresh. The eye brows will be very natural, similar to the model's eye brows in the image. I was inspired by Malani's SS16 eye lash look, shown above, because they gave the eyes definition, but were still very fluttery and pretty look. I want to make the eye lashes on my model even more sparse to give an interesting, spidery look. My model's lips are going to be a bright, matte red colour which is represented by the big red lips; however they are going to be shaped in the cartoon lip shape in my mood board to add an oriental aspect to the makeup look. In my look I have included many 2016 spring/summer trends including, dewy skin, red lips, exaggerated eye lashes and wet-look hair, making my catwalk look very current and on trend.
