-setting spray

Step by step:
1. Cleanse the face using a face cleanser and a pad.
2. Moisturise the skin all over to make the skin hydrated.
3. Use some strobe cream to apply on any parts of the face you want to highlight, using your fingers to warm up the products.
4. Apply a thin coat of foundation or tinted moisturiser with a buffing brush to create a natural coverage.
5. Once the tinted moisturiser is on, apply some foundation to any of the areas that need more coverage to perfect the skin.
6. Using a concealer that is slightly lighter than the foundation colour, apply it to the areas you want to conceal and highlight, so under the eyes in a triangle, above the eye brows, on the chin, along the cheekbone, on the cubids bow, down the bridge of the nose and in the centre of the forehead. Also apply a bit of concealer to the eyelid to cancel out any redness.
(Think about testing the application and blending of a concealer or foundation product so that you know how long you can leave it for and what will work best with what skin type.)
7. Apply a cream bronzer under the cheek bones and around the forehead using a smaller fluffy brush so that you only put the product where you want it, then blend this out further with a bigger brush if needed.
8. Apply a cream highlighter to the tops of the cheek bones, down the centre of the nose, on the cupid's bow, and a little in the centre of the forehead and chin.
Apply a powder bronzer over any of the areas you added the cream bronzer and also under the jaw line and on either side of the nose.
9. Apply some highlighter when you had previously highlighted with the conceal, except under the eyes. Use a tapered fluffy brush to so this.
10. Apply a small amount of blush to the cheeks and take it back.
11. Apply any other makeup that you want, for example mascara or lipstick.
12. Set the face with a setting spray.

I am so happy with how this contouring look came out because the skin looks so glowy and the cheek bones look naturally defined. I used the TopShop Glow Pot to highlight the cheek bones and other high points of the face before I added a powder highlight on top and I love how this really makes the highlighted areas stand out. I made sure I didn't put any powder on top of the cream highlighter, apart from the powder highlight, so that it showed through at it's strongest. I think the skin looks flawless; however I could have added a bit of orange concealer under the eyes to cancel out some of the blue tones to make the under eyes less grey. I used the Sleek Contour Kit in Medium to contour the face and I was impressed with how easy it was to blend. I usually use a darker foundation shade to contour so I thought the thicker consistency of the contour palette would be more difficult to work with, but I found it melted into the foundation to give a seamless finish. I really like how defined the cheek bones look with the layering of the cream and powder contour shades and I like that this will last longer on the skin.
